Château de Robert le Diable stands in Moulineaux (Seine-Maritime), in the Normandie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Perched on a cliff above a bend in the Seine downstream from Rouen, the ruins of the château de Robert le Diable crown a strategic outcrop in the commune of Moulineaux. The stronghold dates back to the era of the Dukes of Normandy, and its name is tied to local legend rather than to any confirmed founder. Restored and opened to visitors during the 20th century, it closed to the public in 2003 before being acquired by the local authority, which later reopened its grounds. Today only the courtyard and moat area can be visited, set within woodland that still hints at the fortress's former scale.
