Built from the 15th century onwards, Reichenstein castle overlooks the Kaysersberg area. Its main building was remodeled around 1700 by the Boisgauthier family, magistrates and parliamentarians, who added modern conveniences while preserving older features such as the oriel window of 1562. Severely damaged during the Second World War, the castle was completely rebuilt to its original form and remains today a stone residence where Gothic and classical architecture stand side by side.
