Château de Pujols stands in Pujols (Gironde), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Pujols, in the Gironde department, the remains of a medieval stronghold form an almost square enclosure bordered by moats on three sides. Captured by French troops in 1338 and later brought under English control in 1417, the site still shows its defensive character through buttressed curtain walls, watchtowers, a residential block and a pointed-arch postern. The southern walls and part of the western ones have vanished, along with the towers and bastions razed in 1789, yet the overall layout can still be traced on site. The castle has been listed as a historic monument since 1925.
