To make a day of it

Château de Lussac stands in Lussac (Gironde), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Lussac stands at the heart of the village of the same name in the Gironde, surrounded by a 30 hectare vineyard producing lussac-saint-émilion wine. The current building, with its classical lines topped by a Renaissance-inspired pediment, dates from the late 19th century, rebuilt after a fire destroyed the earlier structure in 1898. Visitors come for the architecture of the main building, flanked by two pavilions, and for the surrounding vineyard.
