Le château a été terminé à la fin de l'Empire et les piliers de pierre des deux grilles d'entrée sont vraisemblablement de la Restauration. En son milieu, le château comporte un péristyle soutenu par quatre colonnes terminées par des chapiteaux ioniques et surmontées d'un fronton triangulaire décoré d'une grecque. Un vestibule très élevé et décoré, traverse la demeure au rez-de-chaussée. Les communs situés à gauche et à droite du château dont des toitures à la Mansard. Une façade à pignon traingulaire les termine du côté de la Dordogne. Grilles Empire.
