A short distance from the bastide town of Eymet, the château de Pouthet is an 18th century raised winegrowing manor flanked by two corner pavilions. Alterations made during the 19th century gave the building its present appearance, including a mock-machicolated tower to the west and a slender turret to the east. The listed estate also includes a park with a cedar avenue, box hedges and a polychrome kitchen garden, remnants of its past as a working wine and farming estate.
