What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château du 18e siècle, ayant appartenu au banquier Peixotto. Il ne subsiste de la décoration intérieure que le salon central qui fait saillie en rotonde du côté du parc. Les boiseries, encadrements de baies, la corniche existent encore ainsi que cinq trumeaux peints sur toile avec médaillons et attributs dans le goût Louis XVI. L'escalier en pierre, avec sa rampe en fer forgé subsiste également. Tous les autres locaux ont été transformés pour les besoins de la mairie.
