What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ensemble castral composé d'une enceinte, du château et de l'église. Le château est mentionné pour la première fois en 1274. Le château actuel, du 13e au 14e siècle, a remplacé un édifice plus ancien. Il se compose de bâtiments d'époques diverses situés autour d'une cour centrale et appuyés sur une courtine de forme polygonale. Cette muraille, flanquée de deux tours, a été remaniée à plusieurs reprises, dont le 16e siècle. Le corps de logis, actuellement ruiné, date du 16e siècle mais a été remanié au 17e. C'est un bâtiment rectangulaire à deux niveaux, percé de baies avec croisées à meneaux. Un nouveau logis lui est accolé au 18e siècle. Plusieurs bâtiments agricoles complètent l'ensemble.
