Ce château du 13e siècle, agrandi à la fin du 15e siècle, présente une réelle homogénéité, une grande authenticité et certaines dispositions architecturales originales : des corps de bâtiments disposés selon un plan en croix, avec murs pignons et contreforts circulaires disposés à chaque angle. Il a conservé ses baies à encadrements gothiques, notamment la porte d'entrée, ainsi que ses douves. A l'intérieur, cheminées monumentales, plafonds et cloisons à pans de bois.
