Château de la Possonnière stands in Vallée-de-Ronsard (Loir-et-Cher), in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first half of the 16th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

This manor in the Loir-et-Cher region, overlooking the village of Couture-sur-Loir, is the birthplace of the poet Pierre de Ronsard, born there in 1524. The main dwelling, renovated in the early sixteenth century by the poet's father, combines an early Renaissance decor with cave dwellings carved into the tufa stone, including kitchens with finely carved doorways. A garden of old roses, planted in the early 2000s, now surrounds the building. The estate lost its chapel and part of its outbuildings over time, though the main residence survives largely intact.
