What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief relevait de la châtellenie de Reugny. L'ensemble architectural comprend un château de la fin du 15e siècle et du 16e siècle, un pigeonnier du 18e siècle, une chapelle du 16e siècle et le portail du 18e siècle. Le château présente une architecture et un décor Renaissance. L'édifice a été construit en plusieurs étapes. Le bâtiment sud possède un volume représentatif de la fin du 15e siècle. Il a été prolongé au début du 16e, à l'ouest, par une courte aile et, à l'est, par une aile formant la façade orientale. Au 17e siècle, les meneaux des ouvertures sont détruits et remplacés par des baies à petits carreaux. Quelques restaurations ont été exécutées au 19e siècle : modifications de quelques ouvertures, décors d'armoiries en façade.
