Constructed for the Kergroadez family on a design inspired by the château de Kerjean, it kept a defensive character despite its wide windows, with an enclosed courtyard and a machicolated parapet. Ruined after the Revolution and later restored in the 20th century, it now sits within a 22-hectare park that still holds terraced gardens, a wash-house fountain and old gallows posts.
