What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le manoir de Bel-Air est un bel ensemble homogène des 16e et 17e siècles, excepté l'aile nord malencontreusement restaurée. Il a conservé la plupart de ses dispositions d'origine en U sur cour fermée. Le logis, construit en 1599 par François de Kerangar, est resté intact. Il a conservé ses dispositions, les deux échauguettes et un dispositif qui semble rester d'un ancien pont-levis, et, à l'intérieur, deux très belles cheminées ouvragées et peintes. Les deux ailes en retour d'équerre semblent avoir été rajoutées ultérieurement, au 17e siècle. L'aile nord comprenait une chapelle. Plan traditionnel avec cour fermée
