Château de Hunebourg stands in Dossenheim-sur-Zinsel (Bas-Rhin), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second quarter of the 20th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

Perched on a rocky spur above the Zinsel valley, Hunebourg Castle combines the remains of a 12th century medieval stronghold with an unfinished neo Romanesque reconstruction from the 1930s. The current buildings, topped by the so called Peace Tower, were shaped by Alsatian autonomist Fritz Spieser, who intended the site as both his residence and a gathering place for regional identity before the project drifted into collaboration with the Nazi occupier. Visitors can see the rock platform, its carved features and a 19th century love grotto laid out in the surrounding park.
