Built between 1928 and 1930 by architect Louis Süe for Édouard Mignot, founder of the Comptoirs français grocery chain, it is notable for its vaulted dining room with elaborate decoration and a drawing room styled after the 18th century. The surrounding park, laid out at the same time by landscape designer Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier, matches the same restrained classicism as the building.
