Château de Crax stands in Andlau (Bas-Rhin), in the Grand Est region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The site of Crax castle lies on a hill north of Andlau, in the Bas-Rhin department, where a fortress once stood before disappearing completely. Built before the mid-13th century, it was torn down by the bishop of Strasbourg at the very end of that century, its stones carried off as far as Lichtenau. Nothing of the structure remains to see today, so a visit here is really about the walk through the woods and the history rather than any standing ruins.
