What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ensemble présentant d'importants remaniements. Le manoir initial datait du 15e siècle. Le château a été reconstruit en 1662 suivant un plan en U. A la fin du 17e siècle, un agrandissement est demandé à l'architecte Le Petit, élève de Mansard et de Le Nôtre. Trop coûteux, le projet ne fut réalisé qu'en partie (démolition de l'aile Est ; transformation du toit en toit à la Mansard ; sans doute début de jardin dont il subsiste un bassin). La chapelle fut ajoutée en 1777.
