Located in Breuschwickersheim in the Bas-Rhin region, this castle dates back to the 13th century and bears the marks of several successive transformations. Captured twice by the Strasbourg forces and then destroyed by the Armagnacs in 1444, it was rebuilt in the 15th century and adapted for firearms. The Sturm family, who owned it for two centuries, turned it into a gathering place for Alsatian humanists, before the Weitersheim family carried out major alterations, removing towers and adding a floor.
