Located in Dachstein, in the Bas-Rhin, this castle was for a long time a residence of the bishops of Strasbourg before being rebuilt during the Renaissance and later enlarged in the 19th century in a neo-Renaissance style by the Turckheim family. Traces of the medieval site remain visible, including the moat, a round tower and a square tower, alongside the later façades and roofs. The whole complex, gateways, enclosing walls, outbuildings and a well, still bears witness to a stronghold of the Vosges foothills.
