Château de Bouvées stands in Labrihe (Gers), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 16th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In the Gers department, at Labrihe, the château de Bouvées preserves what remains of a large fortified residence built in the 16th century by a bishop of Aire-sur-Adour, on the foundations of an earlier structure. Of the three wings that once framed a courtyard, only the east and south sections have survived, now extended by farm sheds built against the old walls. A round tower still stands, along with traces of a second one, a dovecote raised on the base of a former tower, and a chapel that has kept its mullioned windows and carved corbels. Inside, old fireplaces, terracotta floors and exposed beam ceilings reflect the building's successive periods.
