Built in under two years in the late 1560s by his father François, it retains the squat, archaic look typical of Gascon Renaissance manors. Visitors can see a stair tower with cut corners crowned with machicolations, mullioned windows, and round towers added later at the corners, all arranged around a square courtyard lined with outbuildings.
