In the Gers department, the château de Monbrun stands on a quadrangular plan flanked by four octagonal towers, rising two storeys above a half buried base. The surrounding park was laid out by landscape designer Édouard André from 1896 onward, combining formal French style gardens near the building with a more informal landscape park unfolding northward across the terrain. The estate also includes a funerary chapel, outbuildings and the neighbouring Saint Sabin parish church.
