Perched on a rocky spur in the Gers region, this ruined stronghold dates from the late 13th century and was abandoned in the 16th century in favour of a more comfortable residence. Quarried for its stone after the Revolution, most of the structure disappeared, sparing only a tower later turned into a pigeon loft. The courtyard and remnants of the enclosing wall can still be made out, quiet traces of a medieval site largely worn away over time.
