Standing on a hilltop above the spa town of Uriage-les-Bains, this fortified castle dating from the 15th century, later altered over time, belongs to a private co-ownership and is not open to the public throughout the year. Its three wings arranged around a square courtyard and its corner towers, including a massive keep, can mostly be seen from the outside, as access is limited to occasional openings. When a visit is possible, it lasts around ninety minutes and includes the Orangerie, a listed ground-floor garden room.
