Château d'Eaucourt-sur-Somme stands in Eaucourt-sur-Somme (Somme), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The ruins of Eaucourt-sur-Somme castle stand on a fortified 15th century site in the west of the Somme department. Visitors can still make out the entrance gatehouse with its towers, the remains of the drawbridge mechanism and part of the moat that once surrounded the enclosure. Abandoned since the late 18th century, the site has undergone long restoration work carried out by a local association, which now runs activities centred on medieval building crafts.
