To make a day of it

Château de Troissereux stands in Troissereux (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century, 16th century, 17th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

In Troissereux, in the Oise département, this Renaissance château of brick and limestone is built around a tower known as the Tour du Temps, where a brick spiral staircase leads to living quarters shaped by rebuilding campaigns in the 15th and 16th centuries. The site stands at an old crossing point on the river Thérain, used since Roman times, and still bears traces of earlier fortified structures. The twelve-hectare park, attributed to Bernard Palissy, features moats, canals and an arboretum with centuries-old plane trees and bald cypresses dating from the 18th century. Several rooms in the main wing, including the dining room, library, drawing room and grand staircase, are open to visitors alongside the park.
