Château d'Hannaches stands in Hannaches (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 15th century, first half of the 16th century, 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Château d'Hannaches stands in the Oise department, on the road linking Gerberoy to Saint-Germer-de-Fly, forming a coherent architectural group together with the neighbouring church and a farm. Built in brick in the late 15th century for Georges Paléologue de Bissipat on the foundations of an earlier stronghold destroyed during the Hundred Years' War, it retains four corner towers topped with pepper-pot roofs. The facades show restrained decoration in black glazed bricks, though most of the cross-shaped window mullions have since disappeared. The adjoining church, plainer in style, still holds the tombstones of the founding family.
