Ancien palais épiscopal, ancien palais de justice, actuellement musée départemental de l'Oise stands in Beauvais (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Standing at the foot of Beauvais Cathedral, the former bishop's palace now houses the Oise departmental museum, known as the MUDO. The building combines a medieval fortified gatehouse flanked by twin towers with a main wing reworked in a Renaissance style in the early 16th century under bishop Louis de Villiers de L'Isle-Adam. Visitors move through Gothic remains, graffiti left by former prisoners, and galleries devoted to 19th century painting as well as modern and contemporary art. Over the centuries the building served as a prefecture and a law court before becoming a museum in its entirety.
