What the French Ministry of Culture records

Spécimen homogène de petit manoir rural du Vimeu se composant d'un simple corps de logis, doté de sa ferme seigneuriale à proximité, et ayant appartenu au 19e siècle au botaniste Léon de Vicq. Contrairement au manoir qui semble dater du 17e siècle (hormis une tourelle du 16e siècle accolée à la façade) , les bâtiments de ferme ont été entièrement reconstruits au 19e siècle, en pan de bois torchis. Destinés principalement à l'élevage, ils se composent d'étables, de bergeries, d'écuries mais aussi d'une carterie et d'un pigeonnier. Quant au logis du fermier, récemment restauré, il donne tout à la fois sur la cour du manoir et sur la cour de ferme, ce qui témoigne de l'intime imbrication entre le domaine propre du seigneur puis du châtelain, et le domaine agricole
