What the French Ministry of Culture records
Le château a été rebâti à la fin du 19e siècle, remplaçant un manoir du 16e. Du domaine (château, parc, jardin, grilles, portail) ne subsiste qu'un portail monumental daté de 1908, représentant des figures liées à la chasse. Le parc a été dessiné par le paysagiste Edouard Redon. Le tracé du grand canal de l'ancien parc est encore perceptible. La tête du canal est formée d'une île, sans doute aménagée à la fin du 19e ou au début du 20e siècle, sur laquelle se trouve une tour en brique. L'accès se fait par un pont en rocaille de béton. La grille d'entrée a été abîmée en 1914-1918 et le château détruit en 1917.
