To make a day of it

Château de Chevregny stands in Chevregny (Aisne), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 20th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

The château de Chevregny, in the Aisne department, is an Anglo-Norman style manor rebuilt in the early 1920s after the village was entirely destroyed during the German offensive of 1917. The current building, made of pink brick, is marked by two square towers flanking a central pavilion and by grounds redesigned at the same period. It replaced an 18th-century château of which only the porch with antique columns remains. Both the building and its park are now listed as historic monuments.
