La motte d'Ar C'hastel domine le hameau de Kergorlay. En tronc de cône, elle subsiste encore sur une hauteur d'environ 10 m. Son diamètre de base avoisine 50 m et sa plate-forme sommitale, entièrement dégagée, mesure environ 20 m de diamètre. On peut y relever des traces de construction en pierres sèches. La motte est entièrement ceinturée d'un fossé sec de 5 m de large au fond et profond de 2, 50 m à 3 m.
