Built by the Lantivy family, members of the Breton parliament, the Château du Coscro has stood at Lignol in the Morbihan since the second half of the 17th century. Its symmetrical facade, interior staircase and wood panelling reflect a design conceived as a single coherent whole. The grounds extend into a classical garden, an orchard, a kitchen garden and a pond, recreated on the basis of traces of the original garden.
