Demeure qui rompt définitivement avec la tradition du manoir médiéval, bâti sur plan quadrangulaire à étage avec tourelle d'escalier. Le parti adopté, corps de logis rectangulaire encadré de deux pavillons d'angle en décrochement, appuyé à l'arrière sur une massive tour carrée, parti de symétrie et de verticalité mis en relief par l'absence de pièces de bois obliques, annonce déjà le classicisme. Les toitures aigües et la sculpture des lucarnes encadrées de pilastres cannelés, appartiennent à la Renaissance. Chaque pièce est prolongée, sur la façade principale, par une petite pièce dans les pavillons.
