What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le manoir remonte au 13e siècle et a effectivement été bâti par les Templiers de la Commanderie de Saint-Vaubourg au Val-de-la-Haye peu avant 1214. A la suppression de l'Ordre au début du 14e siècle, il revient aux moines de Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville. Baillé à un fermier pendant tout l'Ancien Régime, il est transformé en exploitation agricole après la Révolution. Il comprend un logis de pierre calcaire à étage, avec une tourelle d'escalier sur la façade est, deux bâtiments accolés au logis (une grange en pan de bois et un pressoir) , un ensemble de bâtiments répartis dans un enclos (remise, chenil, citerne) , un puits à proximité du logis et une petite chapelle du 16e siècle dédiée à Saint-Gorgon.
