Ancienne châtellenie relevant de Rillé. Construit à la place d'une villa gallo-romaine, le manoir occupe l'angle nord-ouest d'une enceinte rectangulaire, dont les courtines ont été garnies d'un chemin de ronde et de merlons vers 1910. Le manoir comprend deux bâtiments perpendiculaires, réunis par une aile percée, à son rez-de-chaussée, d'une porte d'accès à la cour intérieure. Le bâtiment nord est flanqué, à ses angles nord-est et nord-ouest, de deux tours cylindriques. L'enceinte était entourée de douves.
