The château de Longue Plaine stands in Sorigny, in the Indre-et-Loire department, within a wooded estate of more than 500 hectares. The present building was rebuilt in the 18th century on a site first recorded at the end of the 11th century, but it is not open to the public as a sightseeing destination. It now operates as a private venue for weddings, receptions and seminars, with a formal courtyard and a French-style garden. A few guest rooms are also available on site.
