What the French Ministry of Culture records
Ancien fief relevant de la châtellenie de Benais. Le logis du 16e siècle présente un étage sur rez-de-chaussée et un comble éclairé de lucarnes. La façade sud est accompagnée d'une tour hexagonale contenant une vis de pierre. Au premier étage, deux des salles sont chauffées par des cheminées à hotte oblique. Le manteau de l'une d'elles est décoré d'une peinture avec rinceaux et feuillages. Une décoration picturale civile pouvant dater du 16e siècle, subsiste dans la salle ouest du premier étage. Des arbres sont disposés de part et d'autre de représentations animales. Une seule scène est à personnage.
