Wasserburg Tagmersheim stands in Tagmersheim (Landkreis Donau-Ries), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Wasserburg Tagmersheim has long since vanished: this moated castle, destroyed in 1523, can today only be guessed at from faint traces in the ground at the centre of the village of Tagmersheim. It was the seat of the lords of Otting, who administered the region from the early 14th century onward. What is known of its appearance comes mainly from a contemporary woodcut showing its walls, water-filled moat and drawbridge. There is no standing structure to visit, only a historic site.
