Schloss Warmsdorf, in Güsten, in the Salzlandkreis, brings together on the site of a former medieval Burg several buildings from different periods, from a sixteenth century Gothic remnant to an early nineteenth century manor house. The north wing, known as the Georgsbau, built in 1552 by Prince Georg III of Anhalt-Plötzkau on the foundations of an older stronghold, stands today as a roofless ruin. Nearby, the small Georgskapelle, rebuilt in the late 1990s, houses an exhibition devoted to this reforming prince.
