Schloss Schönberg (Wenzenbach) stands in Wenzenbach (Landkreis Regensburg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Schloss Schönberg stands in Wenzenbach, in the Landkreis Regensburg, Bavaria, on the site of a castle first recorded in the 13th century. Its oldest core dates from 1253/54, but the building seen today results from a reconstruction carried out in 1726 and further alterations lasting into the early 19th century. A baroque chapel dedicated to Saint Joseph, remnants of the horseshoe-towered ring wall and a former moat now laid out as a garden all survive from these successive building phases. Having passed through many noble families over the centuries, the estate is now privately owned and has undergone a recent restoration.
