Schloss Neuburg overlooks the town of Neuburg an der Donau, in the Landkreis Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Bavaria. Once the residence of the princes of Palatinate-Neuburg, it comprises four wings arranged around an arcaded courtyard, built on the site of a late Gothic ducal castle. Visitors can see a chapel decorated with one of the earliest surviving Lutheran pictorial programmes, along with a gallery of Flemish baroque paintings featuring works by Rubens, van Dyck and Jan Brueghel.
