Schloss Hohenheim stands in Stuttgart (Stuttgart), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Hohenheim stands in the Stuttgart district that bears its name, built between 1772 and 1793 for Duke Charles Eugene of Württemberg as a residence intended for Franziska von Hohenheim, designed by the architect Reinhard Ferdinand Heinrich Fischer. The duke's plan for an extensive palace was left unfinished at his death, though the surrounding gardens still hold several miniature eighteenth century structures, among them the Roman inn and the columns known as those of Thundering Jupiter. The building today mainly houses the University of Hohenheim, so it functions more as a working campus than as a museum piece.
