Schloss Goseck stands in Goseck (Burgenlandkreis), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Schloss Goseck rises above the Saale valley between Naumburg and Weißenfels, on the site of a stronghold recorded as early as the late 9th century and once held by the Palatine counts of Saxony. In 1041 that stronghold was replaced by a Benedictine monastery consecrated in 1053, of which the transept, choir and crypt, the latter dating to 1046, still stand. The present Renaissance residence was built between 1609 and 1635 under Bernhard von Pölnitz on the site of the former monastery nave. Visitors today can see the palace church, restored in the early 2010s, and exhibition rooms devoted to the Neolithic solar observatory found nearby.
