Schloss Burgwerben stands in Weißenfels (Burgenlandkreis), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Burgwerben stands in the wine village of Burgwerben, on rising ground above the Saale, part of Weißenfels. A stronghold called Uuirbinaburg is already recorded here at the end of the 9th century, though the buildings seen today date mostly from the 17th and 18th centuries, with additions from around 1910. Notable features include the two storey main house with its hipped roof and Baroque portal, and a long riverside range thought to have served as the widow's residence of Eilika Billung, mother of Albert the Bear. A small wine growing museum now occupies one of the side wings.
