Schloss Friesenhausen stands in Aidhausen, in the Landkreis Haßberge, Bavaria, on the site of a medieval Gothic Burg once surrounded by a moat. Its origins date back to the 13th and 14th centuries, and around 1563 a Renaissance mansion was built there by the von Ostheim-Steinau von Steinrück couple, later reshaped into a Baroque residence under a Würzburg bishop and the Dalberg family.
