Burg Hohenschramberg crowns a spur of the Schlossberg above the town of Schramberg in Baden-Württemberg. Built from 1457 onward by Hans von Rechberg, it ranks among the last medieval castles raised in Germany. Now a ruin but substantially preserved, it still shows the western bastion, the chapel tower, the remains of the middle and rear castle sections, and the old stable. From the site visitors look out over the so called town of five valleys.
