Ruine Schilteck stands in Schramberg (Landkreis Rottweil), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Ruine Schilteck is what remains of a spur castle overlooking the town of Schramberg from the north, in the Black Forest. Built around 1200 by the Dukes of Teck, it likely formed part of a defensive line watching over the Schiltach valley, alongside the Klingenburg and the Burg Schiltach. Visitors today can still make out the bossed keep and the inner defensive wall, while the ditch cut into the hillside remains clearly visible.
