Höchster Schloss stands in Frankfurt am Main (Frankfurt am Main), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
In Höchst, a historic district of Frankfurt am Main, the Höchster Schloss is made up of two building complexes from different centuries: the Altes Schloss, whose Gothic keep with its Baroque dome dates back to the 14th century, and the Neues Schloss, built in the late 16th century as a guest house for the prince-electors. The site once housed the bailiffs of the Archbishopric of Mainz and later served many other purposes, from private residence to a US Army radio studio and later a corporate guest house for a chemical company. Visitors today can walk through the courtyard, the restored terrace and the gardens laid out in the former moat, while the older building houses exhibition rooms and offices of a heritage foundation.
