To make a day of it

Hildisburg stands in Stockach (Landkreis Konstanz), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.

The Hildisburg was a hilltop stronghold, now vanished, perched on a rocky spur rising to 645.5 metres near the hamlet of Burgtal, close to Hindelwangen. No standing structures remain today, but the site itself, a plateau roughly 160 by 65 metres, still marks where a small tower building once stood, measuring only about ten by sixteen metres.
